Proud first, wry second: a mid-century dental-society crest that treats the RDH licence like a degree worth engraving. REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST arcs across the top, a molar and a crossed mouth-mirror and scaler sit like a coat of arms, and the ribbon answers quietly: LICENSED TO SCALE. The design wraps both sides, so it reads whichever way it is picked up.
The gift that says the profession is respected: for the newly-licensed grad, the twenty-year veteran, or the whole operatory on Dental Hygienists Week. Self-gift very much encouraged.
