The first call of the day opens with someone saying they just wanted to touch base. By lunch two threads have been circled back to and a quick sync has eaten the hour that was meant for actual work. At some point a person has to put up a sign.
This is the sign. Three prohibition symbols across the chest, each a ring and a slash over a simple icon: a looping arrow for circling back, two hands on a small base for touching base, a lightning bolt for the quick sync. Under them, three rules in tall, heavy capitals set to the same height so they read as one notice: No circling back. No touching base. No quick syncs. The icons are knocked out of the discs, so the hoodie itself shows through.
Soft and cozy, with a hood for pulling up when the fourth sync of the day gets scheduled.
It goes to the coworker who has muttered every one of these phrases under their breath, the partner who hears them through the wall of the home office, or the friend who finally quit saying them out loud. Bought for yourself first, then for the person who invited you to the sync.
