Some people buy their tomatoes. You grow yours from seed and count the days to ripe. This mug carries a vintage seed-packet emblem, "Homegrown / Heirloom Garden Co. / Vine-Ripened" wrapped around a hand-drawn tomato, like a packet pulled from a grandfather's shed. The design wraps both sides, so it reads whichever way it is picked up.
No stock clip art, no throwaway slogan, a real heritage illustration that looks right on the potting bench and earns a nod at the farmers market.
A thoughtful gift for the gardener in the family at a birthday, Mother's or Father's Day or planting season, and a proud self-gift for anyone who grows their own.
