Some hobbies quietly become an identity, and beekeeping is one of them: the slow open of the hive, the frame lifted into the light, the whole face that changes when you talk about your bees. This mug wears that identity like a crest.
The design is a circular vintage apiary emblem: a domed straw skep hive at its heart, two bees at its side, wildflowers and blossoms below, all ringed in a honeycomb border and bold engraving. "Backyard Beekeeper" arches the top, "Keeper of Bees" rides the banner below, and the design wraps both sides, so it reads like an aged apiary label whichever hand picks it up.
For the keeper of a backyard hive, or the person who loves them, it's the gift that finally understands.
For the tenders of small hives and the flowers that feed them.
