It is a 1970s studio-craft exhibition poster, printed for the chest — a round-bellied bottle-vase thrown full-hearted, ochre and celadon glaze breaking over the shoulder in a drip you can practically feel, wheel rings ruled across the belly. It is drawn for people who can tell handmade from clip-art at a glance — which, if you throw, is most of what your hobby actually is. The glaze on this pot broke exactly the way the test tile promised it wouldn't. That is the joke, and it is the only one here.
Printed on the Gildan 18000 heavy-blend crewneck: thick, warm, and built to be worn hard and washed often. Direct-to-garment printed in four warm earth inks — oxide brown, terracotta, mustard ochre and celadon — so the poster sits in the fabric rather than on top of it.
