The pottery aisle is puns on plain shirts and a cartoon frog at a wheel. This is not that. It is a 1970s studio-craft exhibition poster, drawn for the chest: a round-bellied bottle-vase thrown full-hearted, glaze breaking over the shoulder in a drip you can practically feel, wheel rings ruled across the belly. HAND THROWN across the top. STUDIO POTTERY below. MADE BY HAND, small, because it is. It is drawn for people who can tell handmade from clip-art at a glance, which, if you throw, is most of what your hobby actually is. The glaze on this pot broke exactly the way the test tile promised it wouldn't. That is the joke, and it is the only one here.
