The one piece of kit every reefer tunes daily and never quite understands, drawn like a 1950s patent plate and blown apart part by part: collection cup, body, cone, pump, floating up the axis line in fine blueprint linework. FIG. 2, PROTEIN SKIMMER, EXPLODED VIEW. And the footnote every keeper earns the hard way, set smallest at the bottom: tuned daily, understood never. If you have ever re-seated the cup at 11pm just to watch the bubble line settle, you did not buy this hoodie, you qualified for it.
Soft brushed fleece, cozy from the first wear, with a hood for water-change mornings. A build-completion marker, a tank-anniversary gift for the keeper who has opinions about skimmer tuning, or the hoodie they wear to the frag swap where exactly three people get the joke. Drafted like a patent. Tuned like the real thing.
