Ask a rider what he is doing this weekend and you get a long answer about a ride. Ask the people who live with him and the answer is shorter: the ride, a big lunch, then a nap. This motorcycle dad mug tells the truth on his behalf, one coffee at a time.
A cartoon dad lies out cold in a hammock slung across his two parked motorcycles, helmet tucked under his folded hands, while one big Z floats up over his head. WEEKEND PLANS sits underneath in two heavy rows of clean block capitals. Thick cartoon outlines, a pair of plain standard bikes and a joke you get from the picture before you read a single word.
The design wraps both sides, so it reads whichever way you pick it up.
It is the gift a grown kid gives the dad who rides every Saturday, or a partner gives the rider who counts a hammock nap as part of the route. Father's Day, birthdays and Christmas are all covered.
Coffee first. The ride can wait an hour.
