Side A Tee

Description

There is a moment, about four minutes in, where you stop deciding whether you like it. The needle is down, the sleeve is on the arm of the chair, and the next forty minutes have already been agreed to. This shirt is for the part of you that keeps that agreement: SIDE A. ALL THE WAY THROUGH. NO SKIPPING. Not a rule anyone imposed. Just the one you keep.

The art is typeset the way a 1970s sleeve credit block was: a heavy condensed slab header, a grooved platter and tonearm beneath it, and a sunburst of rays opening out behind, three flat retro inks that read warm on every shade. Every mark is original. No band, no label, no borrowed cover art, and a centre label deliberately left blank. The range runs dark on purpose: that's the light a record gets played in.

It also solves the one real problem with buying for a record collector: this cannot be a duplicate.

Side one, start to finish. That was always the deal.

Chest Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it horizontal.

Solid colors: 100% Airlume combed, ring-spun cotton (heather shades blend in polyester)
Soft, lightweight jersey with a little stretch and a natural drape (4.2 oz/yd²)
Pre-shrunk, side-seamed, with shoulder-to-shoulder taping
Tear-away tag, so no itchy label at the neck
It's a light tee, so lighter colors can be slightly see-through
